Awards or Recognitions: Redken Specialist and Redken Master Specialist. I also attend numerous seminars every year featuring Michael Cole, Daniel Doud and Redken’s Sam Villa and Chris Baron.

A little more about me: I’ve been a Stylist for more than 30 years and spent 12 years at The Salon and Spa at Mystic Hair before joining The Edge Salon Tampa by Mystic Hair in 2009.

I believe in customizing every haircut, color and style to create a style that fits each clients personality while keeping with the current trends. My absolute favorite service is creating romantic styles for weddings as well as other formal events.

Celebrity style I admire: I really like both Nicole Ritchie’s and Rachel Bilson’s style, and I think Jennifer Aniston has the best hair!

What inspired me to pursue a career in beauty: I’ve been a stylist since birth, but been licensed for 10 years! I pursued this career because of the ability to be creative everyday.

Celebrity style I admire: I am a big fan of Nicole Ritchie’s fashion sense. Scarlett Johansson and Cameron Diaz change their color often and vary from beautiful shades of blonde to deep, rich brunette colors.

Awards or Recognitions: I specialize in Dimensional Color and high lighting (natural highlights, custom gray coverage and color balancing with balayage technique), Precision Texture Shaping/Cutting (expert shear work, razor finishing and dry cutting using the Sahag Method), Custom Finish Work (signature blowouts, round brush blowout for body and flat iron finishing), Special Occasion and Bridal (fashion-forward event styling for prom, homecoming and other dances as well as ‘Bridal Style’ for the bride and wedding party done either on location or in-salon) and Session Makeup for photography and events.

What inspired me to pursue a career in beauty: I’ve always loved hair and when I decided to change careers, all of my friends recommended I try it out because I was so good at styling theirs! I’ve been doing it ever since.

A little more about me: I’ve been styling hair since 2005, spent two years at The Salon and Spa at Mystic Hair and moved to The Edge Salon Tampa in 2009. I’m not scared of doing anything, unless it involves heights or close quarters, other than that, it’s fair game!

Education: I graduated The Salon Professional Academy and did an internship at Mystic Hair for 1 year. I have also continued my education with additional classes.

What inspired me to pursue a career in beauty: My hometown is Irvine California and 5 years ago my family relocated to Florida, what I love about both places (setting aside the beaches!) Is the love of Blonde Hair!! If I could give Highlights to everyone- I just might! In California I worked as a salon coordinator and I was so inspired by seeing all the guests leave feeling so great about themselves I wanted to be a stylist to do that to people myself! It's my goal behind the chair to develop relationships and empower!

What inspired me to pursue a career in beauty: Growing up I always loved doing my friends hair. What drew me to hair was the creative aspect of it, taking something ordinary and making it extraordinary is truly my passion. I Love soft textured haircuts, natural looking highlights, ombre, sombre, and vivid fun hair colors. I would love to show you how to LOVE your hair.

Specializes in: Updos, bridal styles and all special occasion hair. - on location wedding services available for Tampa, St Pete, and Clearwater area.

Awards or Recognitions: Winner of The 2011 National Student competition “Fashion Through Movies-a Decade at a time” I had to create a look from a movie in the 70’s. I chose Clockwork Orange and re-created the main character by making a hat and a clock out of my models hair.

A little more about me: I have 2 kids and 3 cats, talk about a full house! As an Artist and Musician I crave creativity. I Love doing dramatic changes with color and cut. If you ever don’t know what to do with your hair I’m your stylist! I love to create a custom color plan to enhance one’s natural beauty.

I have been in the beauty industry since 2009 and licensed in 3 states.

It has always been my passion to make my clients look and feel their best. It is so rewarding to see my clients smile when they leave my chair. I love creating custom colors and haircuts to fit the needs of every client. I especially love balayage, highlights, vivid colors and gray coverage.

Jessica has earned the honor and title of Redken Certified Hair Colorist. A Redken Certified Hair Colorist is the most advanced and educated colorist not only the Redken, but in all hair communities. Their expertise in corrective color make them some of the most sought after colorist.

What inspires me: My favorite story. My mom was a stylist and always wanted to cut my hair. One day I wanted to cut my cousins very long and beautiful hair, I was stopped in a panic by my aunt.
